## Title: Senior Associate Lawyer

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Lagos. The Senior Associate will handle complex legal matters and contribute to the firm's ongoing success in achieving favorable outcomes for clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle complex legal matters and prepare legal documentation
  • Represent clients in court proceedings and provide strategic legal advice
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis
  • Collaborate with clients to develop case strategies
  • Mentor junior attorneys within the firm
  • Manage multiple high-stakes cases under tight deadlines

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B) and call to the Nigerian Bar (BL) (mandatory)
  • Minimum of 5 years of post-call legal experience with focus on dispute resolution or similar practice areas
  • Exceptional legal research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents
  • Deep understanding of Nigerian law and demonstrated ability to apply legal concepts effectively
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Strong negotiation and client management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members
  • Computer literacy
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple high-stakes cases with attention to detail and strategic planning

Additional Requirements

  • Must be very presentable and articulate
  • Master's degree in Law or related field is an added advantage

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary: ₦600,000 - ₦700,000 monthly
