Senior Account Officer

We are looking for a qualified candidate to fill this position. Job Duties & Responsibilities - Close monitoring of Bank Accounts for adequate funding - Prompt reconciliation of bank and ledger transactions for clients and staff - Updating and posting of payments and deposits into SAGE - Daily preparation of cash position raising & posting of payment from customers & other sources - Overseeing lodgement of customer’s cheques - Preparation of daily summary Float position - Updating & Posting of Sundry Vendors’ Invoices (Sage) Required Qualifications: - First degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field - Professional accounting or finance qualification (CIS, CFA, ACCA, ACA) - Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within the healthcare or a related industry - Experience in an audit environment, with exposure to the use of SAGE software - Strong analytical skills and sound knowledge of financial concepts - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Strong attention to detail and ability to work under strict deadlines
