About the Role

A dynamic team is expanding and looking for the right talent to join as a Security Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support the security team, assign security officers to specific patrol areas, and ensure duties are performed effectively
• Address team issues by providing training and disciplinary action where necessary
• Monitor team and individual performance, provide feedback, and hold regular team briefings
• Manage day-to-day security operations and become familiar with site layout
• Create and implement effective policies and procedures, including patrol routes and security equipment placement
• Regularly patrol and inspect the site to identify potential weaknesses, hazards, or security breaches
• Monitor CCTV equipment for suspicious activity and create plans to address identified concerns
• Ensure all entry and exit points are secure and verify IDs of individuals entering the site
• Allow admission to authorized personnel only
• Respond to and investigate security breaches or incidents
• Escort unauthorized personnel from the site
• Conduct emergency drills and assist with evacuation procedures in emergencies
• Liaise with emergency services where necessary
• Maintain accurate records of security incidents, breaches, and surveillance
• Maintain an inventory of security equipment
• Ensure compliance with health and safety, company, and legal requirements
• Liaise with site management, employees, and the Security Manager regarding security issues or incidents
• Address queries and take part in planning and risk management meetings
• Provide a consistent calm and professional image when dealing with staff, customers, and site personnel

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or HND qualification
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
