Science Laboratory Technician

We are seeking an experienced professional for this opening. Position Overview: - We are seeking a competent and detail-oriented Science Laboratory Technician to support laboratory operations, assist in practical sessions, and ensure proper maintenance of laboratory equipment and materials. - The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring a safe, organized, and efficient laboratory environment. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare laboratory materials, reagents, and equipment for practical sessions. - Assist lecturers and instructors during laboratory demonstrations and experiments. - Maintain, clean, and store laboratory equipment properly. - Ensure compliance with laboratory safety and quality standards. - Monitor inventory of chemicals and consumables, and report shortages. - Keep accurate laboratory records and documentation. - Dispose of laboratory waste in accordance with safety regulations. Requirements: - ND / HND or Bachelor’s degree in Science Laboratory Technology or related science field. - 2–3 years relevant laboratory experience. - Good knowledge of laboratory procedures and safety practices. - Strong organizational and record-keeping skills. - Ability to work effectively in a team.
