School Maintenance Officer

This position offers a great opportunity for career growth. As a School Maintenance Officer at Noble Hall Leadership Academy for Girls, you will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the school's physical facilities, including buildings, grounds, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect school buildings and grounds regularly to identify maintenance needs
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs, repairing plumbing, and painting
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors to schedule repairs and maintenance work
• Conduct regular inspections of fire safety equipment and systems, such as fire alarms
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests, such as power outages
• Maintain an inventory of supplies and equipment necessary for maintenance work
• Collaborate with administrators and teachers to ensure maintenance work does not disrupt educational activities
• Organize and perform small construction improvement projects as directed (e.g., paths, basic carpentry, and concrete work)
• Assist and coordinate maintenance—both reactive and proactive—for all facilities and equipment
• Ensure appropriate registration and maintenance of all equipment and machinery
• Coordinate all scheduled compliance works (e.g., tag and test of equipment, emergency lighting)
• Assist with the running of events as required, particularly with setup and pack-down of equipment as directed by school management
• Handle electrical, plumbing, and carpentry issues
• Supervise cleaners and ensure the facility is always clean
• Supervise gardeners and ensure flowers and field are neat and properly trimmed
