School Bus Driver at TAAS College

Position Overview

TAAS Group of Schools is seeking a reliable, safety-conscious, and experienced School Bus Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting students to and from school, ensuring punctuality, safety, and compliance with all traffic regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate and drive the school bus along assigned routes
• Ensure the safe pickup and drop-off of students at designated locations
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections to ensure the bus is in proper working condition
• Maintain order and discipline among students while on the bus
• Follow all traffic laws, school policies, and transportation safety guidelines
• Report any accidents, issues, or delays promptly to the school administration
• Keep the bus clean, fueled, and in safe operating condition
• Maintain accurate records of routes, fuel consumption, and incidents

Requirements

• Minimum of 5–10 years of professional driving experience
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Proven experience driving buses, vans, or similar vehicles
• Must reside in Ibadan, preferably within or close to the Apata region
• Good knowledge of Ibadan road networks, particularly around Apata
• Ability to maintain patience and discipline when handling children
• Strong commitment to punctuality, safety, and responsibility
• Must be physically fit and alert

Preferred Qualities

• Previous experience as a school bus driver or in a similar role
• Demonstrated reliability, honesty, and professionalism
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
