## Title: Salon Manager

About the Role

A dynamic team is expanding and looking for the right talent to join as a Salon Manager. You will oversee all aspects of salon operations, from day-to-day management to strategic planning, ensuring exceptional service delivery and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Control the tidiness and cleanliness of premises
  • Enforce hygiene practices across all workstations
  • Monitor stock levels and order supplies as needed
  • Maintain records of cash inflows and outflows
  • Manage customer records and data
  • Oversee scheduling of appointments
  • Supervise communication with clients
  • Run marketing activities, including social media management
  • Manage the loyalty program
  • Check availability of resources (equipment and rooms)
  • Create reports regarding salon operations

Required Qualifications

  • OND/HND/Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, Cosmetology, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in a salon, spa, or beauty business
  • At least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role
  • Proven record of managing salon operations, team coordination, and meeting sales or performance targets
  • Relevant salon management or supervisory training (preferred)

Required Skills

Salon Operations Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of daily salon workflow, appointment systems, and inventory management
  • Knowledge of hygiene standards and best practices

Hair & Beauty Service Familiarity

  • Good knowledge of haircare, beauty, and salon services
  • Ability to guide clients and staff confidently

Product Knowledge

  • Familiarity with haircare products and retail upselling techniques
  • Ability to promote the salon's product line effectively

Sales & Marketing

  • Capable of creating and executing promotions and loyalty programs
  • Experience with digital marketing campaigns

Financial Management

  • Skilled in preparing sales reports and managing petty cash
  • Ability to reconcile daily income and reduce wastage

Leadership & Interpersonal Skills

  • Ability to train, supervise, and motivate salon staff for excellence in service delivery
  • Strong interpersonal skills and professional approach to handling clients
  • Excellent communication and customer relations abilities
