Sales & Services Engineer

Position Overview

Asset Matrix Energy Services Limited is seeking a Sales & Services Engineer to develop long-term client relationships while providing comprehensive technical support for instrumentation, quality control, electrical apparatus testing, measurement, analytical, process monitoring, and industrial automation products.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients by managing and interpreting their requirements
• Persuade clients that products or services best satisfy their needs in terms of quality, price, and delivery
• Provide pre-sales and after-sales technical assistance and product education on instrumentation, quality control, electrical apparatus testing, measurement, analytical, process monitoring, and industrial automation products
• Generate sales inquiries and respond to Requests for Quotes and client inquiries
• Meet regular sales targets and coordinate sales projects
• Support marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events
• Start-up, maintain, calibrate, test, and troubleshoot a wide variety of instruments, process monitoring and controlling instruments, and industrial instruments
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, principals, and relevant authorities
• Collaborate with sales team members and technical experts
• Promote the company's product portfolio and lines of representation amongst current and prospective clients via email, cold calls, and scheduled visits
• Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and project the number of contacts to be made
• Identify sales prospects and follow up on new leads and referrals from field activity
• Prepare presentations, proposals, quotes, purchase orders, invoices, and sales contracts
• Follow up on submitted quotations, specification queries, and invoices
• Develop and maintain sales and marketing materials
• Provide content management for the company's websites and e-commerce sites
• Develop and implement special sales activities to reduce stock
• Prepare status reports including activity, closing, follow-up, and adherence to goals
