Sales Officer, Showroom at Ascentech Services Limited

Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Sales Officer to join our showroom team. In this role, you will serve as a brand ambassador, driving sales growth while delivering excellent customer experiences and maintaining the highest showroom standards. You will be responsible for achieving and exceeding sales targets by promoting our comprehensive range of products and ensuring strong brand visibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve and exceed daily, monthly, and quarterly sales targets
• Promote and sell company products to meet or surpass target levels
• Proactively generate customer orders using showroom stock, catalogues, and available product options
• Recommend product alternatives, including custom order materials and finishes
• Work closely with sales and production teams to plan and execute product promotions
• Maintain and update the accessories inventory database
• Ensure display accessories are clean, organized, and well-presented
• Maintain showroom visual presentation to company merchandising standards, including seasonal layouts and daily displays
• Liaise with sales and procurement managers to confirm stock availability
• Ensure all orders are fully paid before delivery and maintain accurate order checklists to minimize errors and delays
• Forward retail leads outside showroom scope to the main sales team for follow-up
• Keep the showroom, storeroom, and related areas clean, tidy, and well-organized
• Ensure all products are properly labeled, priced, and include accurate details (dimensions, materials, specifications)
• Maintain updated catalogues, swatches, and samples availability
• Maintain a consistent and professional sales presence in the showroom

Required Qualifications

• B.Sc. or HND in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
• 2–4 years of sales experience, preferably within the furniture or interior design industry

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Interior Decoration from a recognized or accredited institution in Nigeria
