Sales Marketer at Lagostar Wire & Cable

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Sales Marketer to promote and expand the market presence of our cable and wire products across Nigeria. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and executing marketing and sales initiatives to achieve revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive product awareness and generate qualified leads
• Identify and engage potential clients across industries such as construction, oil & gas, power, telecoms, and manufacturing
• Maintain regular communication with contractors, distributors, and procurement officers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions
• Manage sales activities from prospecting to deal closure, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction
• Conduct market research to track competitor activities, pricing trends, and emerging opportunities
• Collaborate with internal teams to prepare proposals, quotations, and marketing materials
• Attend trade exhibitions, industry events, and client meetings to promote the company's products and strengthen brand visibility
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets while maintaining accurate records of all sales transactions and client interactions

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
• 3–5 years of proven experience in sales or marketing within the electrical, construction materials, or industrial products sector
• Proven experience and strong understanding of the cable and wire manufacturing industry
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet sales goals
• Strong client relationship management and networking abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools is an added advantage
