## Title: Sales Manager – Key Account Manager
About the Role
An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a motivated Sales Manager (Key Account Manager) to drive growth, deepen strategic relationships, and expand market presence with seagoing vessel owners, operators, and marine service companies.
This role requires a highly driven, technically sound, and commercially intelligent professional with a strong track record of B2B sales in the marine sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow key accounts within the marine industry, ensuring strong, long-term client relationships with vessel owners, ship managers, fleet operators, and technical teams
- Drive revenue growth by identifying opportunities, pitching relevant solutions, and closing deals in line with business targets
- Provide technical sales support leveraging engineering background to advise clients, interpret vessel requirements, and recommend appropriate product and service solutions
- Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and proposal development with high-level stakeholders
- Conduct market intelligence, competitor analysis, and opportunity mapping within the marine and maritime ecosystem
- Collaborate with internal engineering, operations, and service teams to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts, account reports, and performance updates for management
- Represent the brand at industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Marine, Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline)
- 6–10 years of proven B2B sales experience in the marine and seagoing vessel environment, including equipment, engines, parts, lubricants, services, or marine-related technical solutions
- Strong understanding of vessel operations, fleet management, and maritime technical workflows
- Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and client management skills
- Ability to translate technical requirements into commercial solutions
