## Title: Sales Manager - Energy Storage Solutions
About the Role
A reputable organization seeks a dedicated Sales Manager to lead revenue growth across West Africa's renewable energy and energy storage markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead sales of the full product portfolio including Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), solar solutions, monitoring hardware, and Energy Management Software (EMS)
- Drive growth in both Commercial & Industrial (C&I) and household market segments
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet aggressive revenue targets
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline across West Africa
- Engage government stakeholders, private sector clients, EPCs, developers, distributors, and partners
- Provide accurate forecasts and sales performance reports
- Represent the organization at conferences, expos, and regional energy events
- Work closely with leadership, operations, and product teams to ensure successful project delivery
Required Experience
- Minimum 7 years of proven experience selling solar, inverters, or battery energy storage products
- Demonstrated track record of generating hundreds of thousands to millions of dollars in revenue
- Strong experience selling across multiple West African markets (Nigeria, Ghana, Senegal, Ivory Coast, Liberia, Gambia, and other regions)
- Prior experience selling energy storage systems (major advantage)
- Ability to sell both hardware and software energy solutions
- Strong networks and relationships with EPC contractors, distributors, government agencies, and commercial clients
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills with ability to deliver immediate impact
Education
- Bachelor's degree required
- MBA preferred
Contract Details
- 1-year full-time contract
- Exclusivity: You will work only with this organization during the contract term
- Conversion to permanent role is based strictly on performance and deals closed
