## Title: Sales Manager - West Africa

About the Role

A reputable organization seeks a dedicated Sales Manager to lead sales initiatives across West Africa. In this role, you will drive revenue growth, manage strategic client relationships, and represent the company across the region's energy sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead sales of the full product portfolio including Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), solar solutions, monitoring hardware, and Energy Management Software (EMS)
  • Drive growth across Commercial & Industrial (C&I) and household market segments
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve aggressive revenue targets
  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline across West Africa
  • Engage with government stakeholders, private sector clients, EPCs, developers, distributors, and strategic partners
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and performance reports
  • Represent the organization at conferences, expos, and regional energy events
  • Collaborate with leadership, operations, and product teams to ensure successful project delivery

Required Experience

  • Minimum 7 years of proven experience selling solar, inverters, or battery energy storage products
  • Demonstrated track record of generating hundreds of thousands to millions of dollars in revenue
  • Strong experience selling across multiple West African markets (Nigeria, Ghana, Senegal, Ivory Coast, Liberia, Gambia, and similar regions)
  • Ability to sell both hardware and software energy solutions
  • Strong networks and relationships with EPC contractors, distributors, government agencies, and commercial clients
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills with ability to deliver immediate impact
  • Prior experience with energy storage systems is a major advantage

Education

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • MBA preferred

Contract Details

  • 1-year full-time contract
  • Exclusivity: You will work solely with this organization during the contract term
  • Conversion to permanent role is based on performance and deals closed
