About the Role
The Sales Executive focuses on generating new leads, pursuing prospects, and closing deals to expand the company's customer base and revenues. This role involves prospecting through market research and networking, presenting product and service value, negotiating contracts, and meeting sales targets.
Success in this position requires strong self-motivation, strategic thinking, relationship-building capabilities, and effective communication skills to identify and win new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively identify and pursue potential clients through frequent sales calls and visits, market research, cold outreach, networking, and attendance at industry events
- Manage deals from initial contact through qualification, positioning, and closing
- Understand potential clients' goals and challenges and provide tailored solutions that meet their specific needs
- Develop and deliver compelling presentations to decision-makers, demonstrating how products or services provide measurable value
- Employ strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms and successfully close new accounts
- Consistently meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets to drive revenue growth
- Maintain a positive work attitude, strong work ethic, and embrace a team-centric environment
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline
- Minimum 10 years of sales experience with a consistent track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Proven ability to identify and build relationships with senior-level decision-makers
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and customer interface skills
- Demonstrated ability to see projects through from planning to completion
- Entrepreneurial mindset and strategic thinking capability to provide optimal solutions for clients
