Sales and Service Engineer at Jocam Nigeria Limited

Position Overview

This is a full-time role for a Sales and Service Engineer in the Marine industry. You will be based in either Lagos (Abraham Adesanya) or Port Harcourt (Trans Amadi), and will be responsible for driving sales, providing technical support, conducting customer visits, delivering training, and managing relationships related to Alfa Laval products across both locations.

Role Description

This position requires a dual role combining sales expertise with deep technical knowledge. You will identify customer needs, present technical solutions, generate sales leads, build lasting customer relationships, and provide comprehensive after-sales support including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Success in this role demands a strong blend of sales acumen and technical expertise to meet sales targets while ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.

Key Responsibilities

Sales and Business Development

• Identify and prospect new customers while maintaining relationships with existing clients
• Develop and deliver technical presentations and proposals for products and services
• Understand customer requirements and engineer solutions that address their specific needs
• Collaborate with sales teams to achieve sales goals and negotiate pricing

Technical Support and Service

• Install, test, and maintain equipment at customer sites
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems reported by customers
• Train customers on proper use and maintenance of products
• Perform and document all calibration and repairs according to company standards

Market and Product Analysis

• Research market products to effectively propose company alternatives
• Analyze sales data and provide reports on performance and market trends
• Relay customer feedback to product development and management teams to drive product improvements
