## Title: Sales and Operations Manager
About the Role
Smartvolt Limited is seeking a qualified Sales and Operations Manager to drive sales growth and oversee operations in Lagos, Nigeria. This role combines sales leadership with operational oversight, focusing on the promotion and distribution of electrical household equipment and solar energy solutions across assigned territories.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and achieve or exceed sales volume and revenue targets as defined in the business plan
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and stay informed about competitors and industry developments
- Promote the company's products by identifying and engaging potential and existing clients
- Launch and promote electrical household equipment in local markets and drive customer engagement through online marketing platforms
- Negotiate with clients, resolve customer issues strategically, and ensure clear understanding of proposed solar energy and electronic solutions
- Maximize business growth potential within assigned territories and across the state
- Oversee sales operations systems and workflows
- Organize and participate in regular product sensitization and promotional campaigns
- Stay updated on trends and developments in the home appliance electronics and solar industry to provide valuable insights to customers
- Provide technical and non-technical support to clients and address inquiries during the sales process
- Work closely with project managers and installation teams to ensure seamless project execution
- Demonstrate product features and functionalities to customers effectively
Required Qualifications
- B.Sc. or HND in Marketing or a related discipline
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in sales, preferably in home appliances, solar products, electronics, or a similar technical sales role
- Strong product knowledge and understanding of electronic gadgets and devices
- Good knowledge of market geography and product distribution processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with CRM software and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Willingness to travel across states as required by business needs
