Sales and Marketing Officer

Position Overview: - Our client is a publishing company for fantastic school books and actively looking for an enthusiastic and confident person in a Sales and marketing role to add to our sales team. - This is an office and field-based (visiting customers at their premises/schools) role. - Candidates who are self-driven, organised, act with honesty and integrity, good communication skills/ a telephone manner and a team player only needed. Responsibilties - Contacting existing and new customers to explain the advantages of buying our company’s products - Delivering presentations for persuading customers to buy our products - Processing sales transactions; resolving customer issues before and after sales - Maintaining an in-depth understanding of the company’s products to advise and make suitable recommendations to customers - Attending conferences e.g. NAPPS to market our products - Building, maintaining a steady growth of new customers and meet sales targets Requirements: - No previous experience is necessary (though it's a plus), as we provide comprehensive product knowledge training and coaching to help you succeed. - You are required to be flexible in your approach to carrying out your duties which may change time to time in order to reflect business need or for the company’s continuous improvement. - Positive attitude and high energy levels.
