## Title: Sales Account Manager

About the Role

We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Sales Account Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with assigned clients
  • Identify new business opportunities and upsell/cross-sell products or services to existing customers
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting and negotiation to closing deals
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer needs
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product, customer service, finance) to ensure smooth client delivery
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and reports
  • Handle client inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure high levels of client satisfaction
  • Maintain accurate records of account activity in CRM systems
  • Participate in sales strategy development and contribute to business growth planning

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field (MBA is an advantage)
  • 3 - 5 years proven work experience as a Sales Account Manager, Key Account Manager, or in a similar sales role

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of sales principles, customer relationship management, and negotiation techniques
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously
  • Goal-oriented with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Proficiency with CRM software and MS Office Suite
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-centric mindset

Compensation

Monthly salary: ₦300,000 - ₦350,000
