Safety & Quality Officer

We are looking for a qualified candidate to fill this position. Position Overview: - - Assist the Safety, Quality and Security Manager in implementing, maintaining, and continually improving the compliance monitoring program. - Conduct NCAA/EASA/IOSA (ISSA) audits, documenting non-compliances and observations,and reporting them to responsible managers for action. - Ensure that remedial actions are taken to address the root causes of findings and observations. - Manage the compliance audit program, record and track compliance monitoring data, and chair and take minutes of compliance meetings. - Conduct trend analysis on data collected from compliance, safety, and quality-related functions. - Identify safety hazards, conduct risk assessments, and develop safety cases when necessary. - Conduct internal training on compliance and safety as required. - Support safety investigations and maintain the reporting data. Required Qualifications: & Experience - Graduate in aeronautical, mechanical engineering, a similar field or relevant certifications. - At least 3 years of auditing experience. - Sound knowledge of Nigerian commercial aviation industry, NCAA/EASA/UK Part TCO,and compliance monitoring. - Sound knowledge in Flight and Ground operations. - Competency in SMS regulations. - Work closely with other departments within the organization to ensure compliance andsafety. - Strong work ethic, self-motivation, analytical approach, teamwork. - Trend analysis of data. - Proficiency in computer systems (e.g. Microsoft, PowerPoint, etc), and data recording andanalysis. - Ability to work in a Team. - Performance Indicator monitoring and measurement.
