Retail Electrical Sales Engineer at Greenpeg Nigeria Limited

About the Role

This position focuses on serving the retail market, including residential and small commercial clients, by promoting electrical products and solutions. You will combine expertise in electrical components (such as breakers, contactors, relays, solar and lighting products) with strong sales acumen to drive revenue growth and deliver exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with retail clients to understand their needs and recommend suitable products including MCBs, MCCBs, ACBs, contactors, lighting, and solar solutions
• Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to clients
• Collaborate with internal teams (internal sales engineers, logistics, panel-builders) to ensure smooth order fulfillment and installation processes
• Provide after-sales support, including handling technical questions, demonstrating proper product usage, and ensuring customer satisfaction
• Monitor product performance in the field and provide feedback to management
• Stay informed on market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies relevant to retail customers

Required Qualifications

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Prior experience in technical or retail sales within electrical products or a similar environment
• Strong product knowledge, particularly in circuit protection, lighting, and solar products
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in CRM and Microsoft Office tools
• Results-oriented, organized, and customer-centric approach
