Restaurant Shift Manager at J-Six Group

About the Role

We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Restaurant Shift Manager. This is a dynamic leadership role responsible for maintaining operational excellence, quality standards, and exceptional service delivery across all kitchen and restaurant environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain overall quality and service standards of all kitchen production and environments
• Review and sign off on weekly paperwork, ensuring all records are checked during production
• Verify that requisitions and proper opening and closing functions are completed each shift
• Maintain cleanliness of premises on a daily basis and ensure full cleaning before end of day
• Monitor facility operations visually throughout shifts and take action to ensure quality service standards are consistently met
• Interact positively with customers and resolve problems to the satisfaction of all parties involved
• Provide clear direction and communication to staff members
• Observe staff performance and encourage improvement where necessary
• Ensure equipment maintenance by arranging repairs and training staff on proper equipment use
• Demonstrate positive leadership characteristics that inspire team members to meet and exceed established standards

Required Qualifications

• Tertiary degree required
• Minimum 3 years of managerial experience in a fast-food restaurant environment
• Proven ability to manage self and drive team productivity
• Strong problem-solving and conflict management skills
• Demonstrated experience meeting daily sales targets
• Ability to delegate tasks and follow through until completion
• Proactive approach with strong initiative
• Flexibility to work any shift including morning and afternoon rotations
• Must reside in close proximity to preferred location (accommodation not provided)

Work Schedule

Successful candidates will work rotational 8-hour shifts.
