## Title: Restaurant Manager

About the Role

The Restaurant Manager oversees all daily restaurant operations, ensuring high service quality, strong staff performance, cost control, and overall profitability. The role focuses on delivering excellent guest experiences while managing people, finances, inventory, and compliance with health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Service

  • Manage front- and back-of-house operations
  • Uphold standard operating procedures and brand standards
  • Ensure smooth kitchen coordination
  • Resolve guest issues promptly and professionally

Staff Management

  • Recruit, train, and schedule staff members
  • Supervise daily operations across multiple shifts
  • Conduct performance reviews and development
  • Build and maintain a high-performing, customer-focused team

Financial Control

  • Drive sales targets and revenue growth
  • Control food and labour costs
  • Monitor profitability and financial performance
  • Ensure accurate cash handling and financial reporting

Inventory & Procurement

  • Oversee stock control and management
  • Monitor supplier performance
  • Implement FIFO (First In, First Out) practices
  • Prevent loss and waste

Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure adherence to food safety and hygiene standards
  • Maintain workplace safety protocols
  • Comply with all regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in restaurant or hospitality management
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Proven financial discipline and cost control experience
  • Excellent customer service orientation
  • Ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple shifts
