## Title: Restaurant General Manager
About the Role
We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Restaurant General Manager at Skyline International Tourism and Hospitality Ltd in Lagos, Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily operations from opening to closing, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient service delivery
- Recruit, train, schedule, supervise, and motivate employees; resolve conflicts and foster a positive team environment
- Greet guests, handle inquiries, manage complaints, and build rapport to ensure customer satisfaction
- Manage budgets, track sales, control costs, minimize expenses, and report financial performance to upper management
- Monitor stock levels, order supplies, manage vendor relationships, and control waste
- Enforce health, safety, sanitation, and company policies, including cash handling procedures
- Implement promotional strategies to attract and retain customers
- Create staff rotas and scheduling
- Design menus when required
- Ensure food quality and presentation standards are maintained
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Relevant qualifications in hospitality, business management, or related field
- Proven management and leadership experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment
- Strong financial acumen and business knowledge
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
