About the Role

A dynamic team is expanding and looking for the right talent to join our restaurant as a Cashier. In this position, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, ensuring smooth transactions and exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

• Process payments, issue receipts, and provide change to customers accurately
• Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system to process customer orders and payments
• Accept cash, credit/debit card, and other payment methods securely
• Balance the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift
• Greet customers warmly and assist with inquiries
• Communicate menu information and promotions to customers
• Handle customer complaints professionally and refer complex issues to the supervisor
• Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable counter and cashier area
• Monitor and restock cashier supplies such as receipt paper, pens, and bags
• Assist in packaging takeout or delivery orders as needed
• Work collaboratively with servers, kitchen staff, and other front-of-house employees
• Follow all cash-handling policies and procedures to prevent losses
• Adhere to hygiene, health, and safety regulations
• Comply with company policies, including dress code and attendance standards

Compensation

Salary: ₦70,000 per month
