## Title: Regional Sales Manager

Job Summary

An established company is recruiting a Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to serve as a P&L-responsible executive tasked with driving exponential sales growth, transforming distributor capabilities, and establishing the company as the #1 lubricant brand in the region. The RSM will build, lead, and scale a high-performance sales ecosystem—including dealers, distributors, mechanics, and field representatives—and report directly to the National Sales Director.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership & Revenue Growth

  • Develop and execute a region-specific Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy leveraging local market dynamics
  • Analyse market share trends, competitor moves, and pricing strategies to capture growth opportunities

Distributor & Dealer Network Transformation

  • Recruit, onboard, and manage a network of 30–50+ distributors and key dealers per region
  • Implement Distributor Excellence Framework including training, KPIs, credit management, and inventory planning
  • Drive digital adoption (e.g., order tracking, e-payments) across the channel

Field Force & Team Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Area Sales Managers and Field Representatives
  • Instil a high-performance culture with clear goals, daily accountability, and recognition
  • Conduct regular field visits to coach representatives and engage mechanics and workshop owners

Market Intelligence & Strategic Input

  • Map and engage mechanic, auto-parts, and fleet operator networks—key lubricant decision-makers
  • Provide real-time insights on regional pricing, product demand, and competitor activity to headquarters
  • Recommend new product launches or pack sizes based on local customer needs

Qualifications & Experience

  • HND/BSc/MBA in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in lubricant, FMCG, or industrial sales in Nigeria
  • Proven track record of managing regional dealer and distributor networks (minimum 30 partners)
  • Experience working with mechanics and workshop networks
