Regional Sales Manager

Position Overview

The Regional Sales Manager ensures effective and efficient management of sales operations through prompt order generation and timely delivery of products to customers. This role involves leading the sales and distribution strategy while maintaining safety and judicious use of company properties within the sales department.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the sales and distribution strategy for products sold through distributors and other customers within the assigned territory
• Build and maintain strategic partnerships with customers and drive customer satisfaction through superior service and execution
• Achieve agreed distribution levels for all products and surpass KPI targets within the assigned territory
• Drive total profitable growth in accordance with long-range and annual sales plans
• Deliver key business metrics in a manner consistent with the strategic direction of the business
• Manage and develop a large sales team by building the right skills through coaching and motivation to ensure appropriate sales capability
• Grow customer satisfaction levels, maintain win-win business relationships, and ensure effective communication with all key buying influences
• Prepare and review annual budgets for the area of responsibility
• Analyze regional market trends and identify new opportunities for growth
• Address potential problems and suggest prompt solutions
• Recommend new services, products, and innovative sales techniques to increase customer satisfaction

Requirements

• B.Sc Degree or HND qualification in Sales, Business Administration, or relevant field
• Minimum of 7 years of beverage sales experience in territory and distributor management with a proven track record
• Ability to measure and analyze key performance indicators (ROI and KPIs)
• Proficiency with MS Office applications
