About the Role
The Regional Manager is a key member of the Programme Operations Team, working closely with regional team members to achieve MSI Nigeria Reproductive Choices objectives. Reporting to the Director Operations, this role is responsible for supporting the delivery of strategies targeted at field operations and implementing MSI Nigeria's channel objectives in the assigned region.
The Regional Manager supports the Operations Director in directing operational activities to ensure effective implementation, continual improvement, and strengthening of MSI Nigeria's service delivery channels. This position may require travel to states for support visits.
Key Responsibilities
Field Operations Management
- Follow up with regional teams to ensure agreed tasks are delivered on schedule
- Work closely with and coordinate support office functions and channels to regional and programme managers to ensure leadership and growth of centers, outreach, MS Ladies, Public Sector Support (PSS), and Social Franchising operations
- Support regional and state teams in the development of annual and quarterly budgets and financial performance targets, and monitor performance
Strategic Operations
- Direct operational activities across Outreach, Social Franchise, Public Sector Support (PSS), donor project implementation, relationship management, and partnership management with partner institutions
- Oversee procurement, logistics, and fleet management for MSI Nigeria field implementation teams
- Coordinate the preparation and execution of field operating budgets and work plans
- Ensure financial, administrative, and logistical resources meet MSI Nigeria minimum standards
Performance and Growth
- Achieve operations channel sustainability, effective management, high productivity, and growth in the assigned region
- Assure quality operations in line with annual and long-term strategic goals and objectives
