Key Requirements
- PhD or equivalent qualification in Medical Biochemistry or related area of specialization
- Minimum of six (6) years of teaching/library experience at the university level
- Minimum of two (2) points from postgraduate students supervised
- Minimum of sixty (60) points from research publications
- Four (4) points in Academic Leadership/Administrative Responsibilities
- Three (3) points in Community Service
- Forty-five (45) points in Job Appraisal
- Two (2) favorable external assessments
Academic and Research Qualifications
- Minimum of twelve (12) publications
- Four (4) papers indexed in Scopus journals
- Visible profile on Google Scholar or equivalent with minimum of twenty (20) citations
- Considerable background in research with admissible publications meeting minimum threshold
Professional Requirements
- Current membership in relevant professional body/bodies
- For Academic Librarians: Ability to participate in postgraduate teaching and supervision in the Department of Library Science
