## Title: Reader in Criminology & Security Studies

About the Position

Federal University Oye-Ekiti is seeking a Reader in Criminology & Security Studies to join our dynamic academic team. This is a senior academic position requiring strong expertise in the field and a proven track record of teaching, research, and leadership.

Key Requirements

PhD or equivalent qualification in Criminology, Security Studies, or related field
Minimum of 6 years teaching experience at university level
Minimum of 2 points from postgraduate student supervision
Considerable research background with minimum 60 points from admissible publications
Minimum of 12 publications
Minimum of 4 papers indexed in Scopus journals
Current membership with professional body/bodies
Visible profile on Google Scholar or equivalent with minimum 20 citations
Minimum 4 points in Academic Leadership/Administrative Responsibilities
Minimum 3 points in Community Service
Minimum 45 points in Job Appraisal
Two (2) favourable external assessments

Additional Information

Salary Grade: CONUASS 6

Note: Academic Librarians appointed to this position shall participate in postgraduate teaching and supervision within the Department of Library Science.
