Role Summary - DemyHealth Diagnostics is recruiting a qualified and patient-focused Radiographer to support its diagnostic imaging services. - The successful candidate will operate imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images, ensuring adherence to radiation safety standards and providing excellent patient care. Key Responsibilities - Perform X-rays and other diagnostic imaging procedures as prescribed by physicians. - Ensure patient safety by adhering to radiation protection protocols. - Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation. - Calibrate, operate, and maintain imaging equipment. - Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to ensure optimal image quality for accurate diagnosis. - Educate and guide patients through the imaging process with professionalism and empathy. - Assist in maintaining department compliance with regulatory and safety standards. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) - Image quality and diagnostic accuracy. - Patient satisfaction and feedback. - Compliance with safety and quality standards. - Equipment functionality and minimal downtime. Ideal Candidate Profile - Minimum of a B.Sc Degree in Radiography or equivalent qualification. - Must be registered with the Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria (RRBN) with a valid practicing license. - 1–3 years of post-NYSC experience in a reputable diagnostic or medical facility. Technical & Functional Skills: - Proficiency in operating X-ray and related imaging equipment. - Good understanding of radiation safety principles. - Strong attention to detail and image quality assessment. - Effective communication and record-keeping skills. Behavioral Competencies: - Empathetic and patient-centered. - Professional and ethical in conduct. - Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills. - Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.
