## Title: Quantity Surveyor

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join our team as a Quantity Surveyor.

Prepare cost analysis based on architectural drawings, engineering estimates, materials required, and labour involved
Develop cost plans to enable design teams to produce practical designs for construction projects, liaising with architects, engineers, and subcontractors
Prepare contract documents including bill of quantities
Maintain and implement construction budgets for each project
Negotiate prices with suppliers and research new materials for design and cost savings
Develop and implement purchasing strategies to deliver ongoing cost reductions
Leverage technology, safety measures, and information sharing to increase productivity
Monitor and control costs throughout projects, identifying cost-saving opportunities

Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying
Certification by Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (NIQS) is an added advantage
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role
Sound knowledge of construction industry practices, regulations, and standards
Proficiency in cost estimation and cost management techniques
Experience working with AutoCAD and validating quantities from drawings
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent negotiation abilities
Proficiency in relevant software and tools for quantity surveying
Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
Strong project management skills and ability to work under pressure
