About the Role

Ascentech Services Limited is expanding its dynamic team and seeking a Quality Control Officer to join our operations. You will be responsible for ensuring that all rice produced, processed, or packaged meets the company's quality and safety standards before distribution.

Salary and Location

Salary: ₦150,000 Gross Monthly

Location: Lagos / Port Harcourt (Open to travel across Nigeria)

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Inspect rice grains for impurities, discoloration, or broken pieces
• Check moisture content to ensure rice is properly dried
• Verify correct packaging, labeling, and sealing of rice bags
• Record inspection results and report any quality issues to the supervisor
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the processing area
• Ensure compliance with company safety and quality control policies
• Assist in sorting and reworking rejected or substandard batches
• Travel to different rice mills or distribution points across Nigeria to monitor quality consistency

Requirements

• At least 1 year of relevant work experience in rice production or food quality checking
• Significant experience in rice production
• Strong attention to detail and observation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physically fit and able to work in production environments
• Willingness to travel across Nigeria as required
