## Title: Project Planning Engineer
Job Summary
The Project Planning Engineer will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and updating project schedules, ensuring alignment with project goals, timelines, and resource availability. This position offers a great opportunity for career growth.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and work breakdown structures
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and other stakeholders to gather project progress data
- Monitor project performance and progress against baseline schedules and report variances
- Prepare weekly and monthly project progress reports for management
- Identify schedule risks and propose mitigation plans
- Assist in resource planning and allocation to ensure timely project delivery
- Update and maintain project planning tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, or other scheduling software)
- Support the project team in claims preparation and extension of time analysis
- Ensure all planning documents and reports are properly documented and archived
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Timeliness and accuracy of project schedule updates
- On-time delivery of progress reports
- Number of schedule deviations detected and resolved early
- Level of coordination and communication with project teams
- Compliance with company planning procedures and documentation standards
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- Minimum of 7 – 15 years' experience in project planning/scheduling (preferably in MEP, construction, or oil & gas projects)
- Proficiency in planning software (Primavera P6/MS Project)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, coordination, and reporting abilities
- Knowledge of project management methodologies
