The Project Planning Engineer will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and updating project schedules, ensuring alignment with project goals, timelines, and resource availability. This position offers a great opportunity for career growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and work breakdown structures
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and other stakeholders to gather project progress data
• Monitor project performance and progress against baseline schedules and report variances
• Prepare weekly and monthly project progress reports for management
• Identify schedule risks and propose mitigation plans
• Assist in resource planning and allocation to ensure timely project delivery
• Update and maintain project planning tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, or other scheduling software)
• Support the project team in claims preparation and extension of time analysis
• Ensure all planning documents and reports are properly documented and archived

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Timeliness and accuracy of project schedule updates
• On-time delivery of progress reports
• Number of schedule deviations detected and resolved early
• Level of coordination and communication with project teams
• Compliance with company planning procedures and documentation standards

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• Minimum of 7 – 15 years' experience in project planning/scheduling (preferably in MEP, construction, or oil & gas projects)
• Proficiency in planning software (Primavera P6/MS Project)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication, coordination, and reporting abilities
• Knowledge of project management methodologies
