Project Planner / Planning Engineer at Trucrete Solutions Limited

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Project Planner to join our growing construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in planning and scheduling for large-scale infrastructure and road construction projects, with proven expertise in project control tools, methodologies, and reporting.

This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can support project delivery from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with timelines, budget, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update project schedules using recognized planning tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project)
• Prepare project planning documents including work breakdown structures (WBS), baseline schedules, critical path analysis, and resource loading
• Monitor project progress and prepare periodic progress reports, schedule forecasts, and risk analyses
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, Procurement, and Site Teams to ensure accurate and timely collection of schedule inputs
• Analyze deviations and provide recommendations for corrective actions
• Track project milestones, deliverables, and dependencies to support effective decision-making
• Support project meetings with planning inputs and schedule performance reports
• Ensure planning and reporting compliance with industry standards and company processes

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of proven planning experience in the construction industry, particularly in road, civil engineering, or infrastructure projects
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
• Professional certification in project planning or project controls (e.g., Primavera P6 Certification, PMI-SP, PMP, AACE certifications) is highly preferred
• Strong proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and relevant planning software
• Excellent analytical, reporting, and communication skills
