## Title: Project Manager – Road Construction

Job Summary

The Project Manager will oversee end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of road construction projects. This position offers a great opportunity for career growth. Agadagba-Obon, Ese-Odo Local Government Area – Ondo, Lagos, Nigeria

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage all phases of road construction projects from inception to completion
  • Prepare and monitor project schedules, cost estimates, work plans, and technical reports
  • Ensure strict compliance with project specifications, quality standards, health and safety regulations, and environmental policies
  • Supervise project teams, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure effective execution of tasks
  • Conduct site inspections, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to prevent delays or quality issues
  • Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and provide periodic progress reports
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, government agencies, and stakeholders for smooth project delivery
  • Oversee procurement of materials, equipment, and resources needed for project execution
  • Resolve technical issues and provide expert guidance to the project team
  • Ensure timely project completion while meeting quality, safety, and cost targets

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
  • Minimum of 10 years proven experience in road construction project management
  • Professional certification (e.g., COREN) is mandatory
  • Strong knowledge of road design, construction methods, materials, and standards
  • Excellent project planning, budgeting, and contract management skills
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team-management abilities
  • Proficiency in project management tools and MS Office
