## Title: Project Manager
About the Role
We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Project Manager at Fort Knox Group in Lagos, Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities
Value-Added Services (VAS)
- Lead delivery of VAS projects while ensuring compliance with telecom standards
- Coordinate integration of new VAS products with operators and partners
- Monitor post-deployment performance and optimize service experience
Network Infrastructure
- Manage design, deployment, and upgrades of network infrastructure
- Ensure network scalability, security, and resilience
- Collaborate with NOC and field teams to minimize service disruptions
Software Development
- Oversee projects across the full software development lifecycle (design, build, test, deploy)
- Manage Agile/Scrum delivery and ensure sprint and release objectives are achieved
- Work with cross-functional teams to align product delivery with business needs
Cross-Functional Projects
- Lead strategic and ad-hoc business projects
- Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and governance standards
- Oversee vendor and third-party performance against contractual terms
- Conduct post-implementation reviews and maintain a lessons-learned repository
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of VAS, network infrastructure, and software lifecycles
- Proven ability to manage complex, multi-disciplinary ICT/telecom projects
- Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, JIRA, Asana, or Trello
- Expertise in budgeting, cost control, risk management, and vendor management
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field
- 5–8 years of project management experience in ICT, telecoms, or software development
- Proven track record in delivering projects across VAS, network, and software domains
- Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or Scrum Master (preferred)
