Project Engineering Manager - Telecoms at Royal Power and Energy Limited

About the Role

Royal Power and Energy Limited is seeking an experienced Project Engineering Manager to oversee multiple telecommunications and power system projects. This role combines strategic project management with hands-on technical leadership, requiring expertise in telecom infrastructure, power systems, and team management.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and manage multiple telecom and power system projects simultaneously
• Conduct comprehensive technical site surveys to assess project requirements, identify potential challenges, and suggest optimal solutions aligned with client needs and project specifications
• Lead installation, testing, and commissioning of telecom rectifiers, large UPS systems, LV electrical panels, and solar systems (on-grid, off-grid, and hybrid configurations)
• Coordinate site readiness, deployment activities, and acceptance with stakeholders and clients
• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs), project schedules, method statements, risk assessments, and quality plans
• Review and validate Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), load calculations, wiring diagrams, and energy management systems
• Coordinate closely with internal stakeholders, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely delivery, quality assurance, and adherence to project milestones and budget constraints
• Lead and manage a team of field service engineers tasked with site surveys and project implementation
• Provide guidance, support, and technical expertise to optimize team performance and ensure successful execution of project objectives
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions as needed
• Conduct project progress meetings, prepare reports, and maintain comprehensive documentation updates
• Travel extensively to various customer sites as required

Required Qualifications

• HND, B.Sc, or B.Tech degree
• 8–11 years of relevant experience in project engineering, telecommunications, or power systems
