Project Coordinator (WASH/Nutrition/Protection) at Future Resilience and Development Foundation (FRAD)

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join Future Resilience and Development Foundation (FRAD) as a Project Coordinator based in Lagos, Nigeria. In this role, you will oversee the management and delivery of integrated WASH, Nutrition, and Protection projects, ensuring effective implementation, resource management, and stakeholder coordination.

Programme Management & Delivery

• Develop detailed project work plans and ensure documentation, updating, and tracking of implementation
• Ensure procurements specified in project documents are planned, requested, purchased, and delivered in a timely manner
• Develop monthly plans with the project team and conduct regular meetings to review progress
• Provide monthly updates on project progress and flag any concerns in a timely manner
• Manage all activities, resources, and assets for the projects under supervision
• Identify critical issues in project implementation and take necessary actions to address problems and constraints
• Work closely with state and LGA offices to ensure smooth project implementation and sustainability
• Lead project activity and budget revisions, prepare justifications for amendment requests in accordance with donor regulations and procedures
• Prepare periodic reports on project implementation activities as per FRAD and donor requirements
• Develop communication strategies and tools to reach target communities and improve demand for immunization
• Develop project briefs documenting project learnings and results
• Ensure phasing-out strategies are implemented and project closeouts are properly planned and executed from the project's beginning

Budget Management

• Manage budgets, including forecasting and review of budget spending and variance analysis
• Identify incorrect charges and take required actions to address and correct them
• Ensure effective and efficient utilization of project budgets and other resources for their intended purpose
• Follow up on budget utilization and project expenditure
• Prepare, review, and submit timely donor reports
