## Title: Project Coordinator
About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join our team as a Project Coordinator at the Rehabilitation Empowerment and Better Health Initiative (REBHI) in Lagos, Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning & Implementation: Lead the design and implementation of project activities, develop comprehensive work plans, set objectives, and ensure activities align with donor proposals and organizational strategy
- Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E): Assess the effectiveness of activities using M&E tools, monitor progress against indicators, and recommend strategic changes as needed
- Budget & Financial Management: Oversee project budgets, monitor expenditure, ensure compliance with financial procedures and donor regulations, and prepare financial reports in collaboration with the finance department
- Team Management: Supervise, coach, and mentor project staff and volunteers, manage performance, and ensure adherence to policies
- Coordination & Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact, liaising with local authorities, partners (CBOs), and internal teams to ensure seamless communication and collaboration
- Documentation & Reporting: Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, reports, and meeting minutes for internal use and donor reporting
- Logistics & Administration: Manage logistical and administrative issues, including procurement, supply chain management, and ensure proper use of materials and assets
- Security & Risk Management: Monitor the local political and security situation, assess risks, and ensure that security procedures are followed by the field team to guarantee staff safety
Required Skills and Qualifications
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a management or project support position within an NGO or development/humanitarian context
- Experience working in insecure environments (often essential for field-based roles)
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field such as management, social sciences, public health, or related disciplines
