Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Program Officer to support our organization in expanding its impact across Africa. This dynamic role will coordinate all programs implemented by Value Female Network and work collaboratively with the Assistant Program Officer to ensure effective program planning, implementation, monitoring, and review across our implementing communities in Nigeria.

Location: Value Female Network Africa HQ, Behind Federal Ministry of Agriculture, GRA, Osogbo, Osun State, Nigeria

Reports to: Head of Programs

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all short-term and long-term projects implemented by the organisation
  • Develop and design new innovative projects for Value Female Network
  • Provide support and supervision for sexual and reproductive health-related projects
  • Prepare advocacy reports, statements, and other relevant materials related to the organisation's activities in coordination with other staff members
  • Train and engage staff members in capacity-building and skill enhancement sessions
  • Support fundraising efforts and maintain relationships with potential donors and partners
  • Establish and maintain regular communication with project partners, stakeholders, and beneficiaries
  • Provide technical support to the Board and prepare quarterly and annual reports
  • Support the development of internal programme documents such as funder reports, PowerPoint presentations, manuals, and other programme-related materials
  • Work with partners to achieve organizational objectives
