Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified candidate for a Professor position in Pharmacology and Therapeutics at the State University of Medical and Applied Sciences (SUMAS) in Lagos, Nigeria.

Required Qualifications

• Ph.D. Degree or Fellowship of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria, or equivalent qualification in a relevant field
• Minimum of twenty-five (25) published scientific journal articles
• At least six (6) journal articles published in impact factor-rated journals
• Successful supervision of a minimum of one (1) Ph.D. student and three (3) Master's students, or at least five (5) Master's degree students
• Minimum three (3) years experience as an Associate Professor (Reader), or at least five (5) years as a Senior Lecturer in a recognized degree-awarding institution
