Requirements - A Ph.D. Degree holder or its equivalent in the area of specialization with a minimum of nine (9) years in teaching experience at University level. - The candidate must have a minimum of five (5) points of PG students supervised. - Academic Librarians shall participate in postgraduate teaching and supervision in the Department of Library Science. - Considerable background of research with a minimum of admissible publications totaling not less than seventy-five (75) points. - Must score five (5) points in Academic Leadership / Administrative Responsibilities. - Must score three (3) points in Community Service. - Must be an up-to-date member of professional body/bodies. - Must score forty-five (45) points in Job Appraisal. - Must be visible on Google scholar with citation not less than thirty (30). - Minimum number of publications not less than fifteen (15). - Must have 5 Papers index in Scopus. - Two (2) Favourable External Assessments.
