## Title: General Manager – Restaurant
About the Role
We are seeking a professional General Manager to oversee all daily operations of our restaurant. This position requires a detail-oriented leader who can manage staff, handle finances, ensure customer satisfaction, and maintain compliance with health and safety regulations. The goal is to ensure the restaurant runs smoothly, efficiently, and profitably.
Key Responsibilities
Staff Management
- Hire, train, and supervise all restaurant staff, including front-of-house and back-of-house employees
- Create staff schedules and manage time-off requests
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback
- Motivate the team and foster a positive work environment
Operations and Compliance
- Oversee all daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth and efficient service
- Maintain high standards for food quality, service, and cleanliness
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations
- Manage equipment maintenance and repairs
Financial Management
- Develop and manage the restaurant's budget, monitoring sales and expenses
- Analyze financial reports to identify areas for improvement and control costs
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and reduce waste
- Maintain sales records and track cash receipts
Customer Service and Marketing
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by handling complaints and resolving issues promptly and professionally
- Engage with guests and build customer relationships
- Collaborate on marketing and promotional efforts to drive business
Strategic Planning
- Set and achieve both short-term and long-term business goals
- Identify opportunities for growth and improvement
- Stay updated on industry trends to keep the restaurant competitive
Compensation
N400,000 – N450,000 per month
