A reputable organization seeks a dedicated individual to manage production operations for books, journals, and publishing materials.

Plan and manage production schedules for books, journals, and materials
Coordinate effective processes and timelines to ensure on-time project completion
Oversee typesetting, page layout, formatting, and proofreading processes
Liaise with editors, designers, illustrators, and printers
Approve print and digital proofs before final production
Ensure final products meet quality standards (color, layout, binding, resolution)
Prepare and manage production budgets
Optimize costs without reducing quality
Assign work to in-house staff and part-time workers
Monitor workloads to avoid delays
Resolve production problems such as misprints, late deliveries, or supplier issues
Keep records of schedules, budgets, and vendor contracts
Track performance and costs for reporting
