## Title: Procurement Specialist
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Lagos. The Procurement Specialist will manage the complete procurement process, including sourcing and purchasing materials, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the procurement process from sourcing through purchase completion
- Source and purchase materials while negotiating favorable terms with suppliers
- Maintain and evaluate supplier relationships and vendor performance
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures
- Collaborate with internal teams to plan and forecast procurement needs
- Handle inventory management and conduct cost analyses
- Optimize procurement strategies based on cost and performance data
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, vendor management, and supply chain operations
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills for interacting with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Proficiency in inventory management and cost analysis strategies
- Working knowledge of procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
