A reputable organization seeks a dedicated individual for this Procurement Officer position based in Lagos, Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and review procurement policies and strategies to ensure transparency, fairness, and compliance
• Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including sourcing, supplier evaluation, and contract negotiations
• Manage import and shipping processes, liaising with regulatory authorities (NAFDAC, SON, CUSTOMS) and logistics providers to ensure timely delivery of goods
• Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating favorable terms to optimize costs and ensure quality standards
• Identify and onboard alternative suppliers to mitigate risks and ensure business continuity
• Monitor procurement budgets, track savings initiatives, and report on financial and performance metrics
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop creative procurement solutions aligned with project requirements
• Prepare and analyze landed cost estimates, ensuring accurate forecasting and budgeting
• Ensure compliance with all statutory and company regulations related to procurement and supply chain activities

Required Qualifications

• 5 years of procurement experience with exposure to import processes (Preferred)
