About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Early Years Educator to join our team, working with toddlers aged 15 months and above. Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons and activities across the EYFS curriculum
• Create and maintain a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment
• Support toddlers with feeding, hygiene and toileting routines, encouraging independence
• Observe, record and assess children's progress and development to contribute to individual learning journeys
• Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues to ensure consistent care and learning
• Foster independence, self-help skills and a love of learning through play and exploration

Requirements

• Minimum qualification: B.Ed, B.A, B.Sc, HND, or PGDE in English, Early Childhood Education, or a related field from a reputable university
• Minimum of 2 years post-NYSC Nursery teaching experience
• Resident in Ibadan, with the ability to easily commute to Jericho
• Knowledge of the British Curriculum and EYFS (highly desirable); candidates with proven childcare experience and willingness to apply EYFS principles will also be considered
• Strong understanding of child development within the 15 months+ age range
• Excellent command of spoken and written English
• Professional, caring and safety-conscious approach to childcare
• Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of individual children
• Confidence in engaging children through play-based learning, supporting their social, emotional and educational development
