Poultry Farm Supervisor at J-Six Group

About the Role

We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Poultry Farm Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage pen houses and oversee daily farm operations
• Direct training and monitor pen attendants' performance
• Conduct regular inspections of pen facilities, crops, feed storage, and livestock across different divisions
• Supervise staff on feed quantities, pen house cleaning, and general welfare of staff, birds, and equipment
• Monitor bird health and report any cases of disease or infection promptly
• Report faulty equipment to the Production Manager
• Maintain accurate daily records of feed usage, bird inventory, and egg crate production
• Advise management on optimal timing for selling birds based on productivity levels
• Evaluate worker performance and maintain farm discipline

Required Qualifications

• Minimum OND/HND in Agriculture, Animal Science, or equivalent qualification
• 1–2 years of relevant work experience in poultry farming (mandatory)
• Ability to make sound decisions in fast-paced environments
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to oversee teams, delegate effectively, and ensure task completion

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior management experience

Compensation and Benefits

• Monthly Salary: N100,000
