Plumber Technician (Water Treatment) at Fify Technical Services Limited

An established company is recruiting for the following position. Job Summary - We are hiring an experienced Plumber Technician to join our team at FIFY Technical Services. - The ideal candidate should have solid technical expertise in plumbing systems, with hands-on experience in installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting. - Candidates with previous experience in a Facility Management or MEP environment are highly preferred. - Knowledge of piping systems, water supply networks, drainage systems, water treatment systems, and general plumbing fittings will be an added advantage. Key Responsibilities - Perform installation, routine maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems, including pipes, fittings, valves, pumps, and sanitary fixtures. - Diagnose faults, troubleshoot plumbing-related issues, and carry out corrective repair works efficiently. - Inspect and maintain water supply and drainage systems to ensure optimal flow, pressure, and functionality. - Monitor, operate, and service water treatment systems, including filtration units, softeners, dosing systems, and storage tanks to ensure water quality and system efficiency. - Conduct regular checks on water treatment parameters and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards. - Prepare maintenance and service reports, ensuring timely completion and documentation of all assigned tasks. - Work closely with the Operations and Facility Management teams to ensure smooth, safe, and high-quality service delivery. - Adhere to safety regulations, environmental standards, and company procedures during all plumbing and water treatment operations. Requirements - Minimum of ND or HND qualification in Plumbing Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field. - Minimum of 4 years proven experience in plumbing installation, maintenance, and repair, preferably within an MEP or Facility Management environment. - Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Excellent knowledge of plumbing systems, components, tools, and safety procedures. - Practical, hands-on experience with water supply systems, drainage networks, water treatment systems, pumps, and plumbing controls.
