## Title: Planning & Cost Estimation Lead
About the Role
This position offers a great opportunity for career growth. As the Process, Planning & Cost Estimation Lead, you will be responsible for leading cost estimation, budgeting, process optimization, and operational performance improvement across the Supply Chain Management (SCM) organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead cost estimation, budgeting, and financial forecasting for projects and operations
- Manage Tender Board Secretariat functions and administer bidding processes
- Plan and coordinate SCM activities and vendor management initiatives
- Ensure all procurement and contracting activities comply with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices
- Optimize cost efficiency and supplier performance
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and SCM process automation
- Manage process compliance and performance monitoring to achieve company objectives
- Prepare and circulate SCM reports in a timely manner
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in cost estimation, preferably in the oil and gas or energy sector
- Strong knowledge of procurement planning, cost estimation methodologies, and supplier evaluation
- Proficiency in procurement systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP tools
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex cost data
- Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Knowledge of local and international procurement regulations
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a related field
- Professional certification such as CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply), PMP (Project Management Professional), or equivalent
- Experience in procurement and tendering processes
